Join us for the 2024 Ramsbury Talks as an exciting line-up of speakers discuss politicians, diplomats, spies, our new monarch, the "most perfect country house in all England" and The Prince of Decorators:

On the 30th September, Ramsbury residents, Sir John Sawers (former Chief of MI6) and Will Walden (former communications director to Boris Johnson) will be offering their perspectives on key global issues including China, Russia, the Middle East, the state of western democracies and the outlook for the US elections.

On the 4th October, the award-winning biographer and broadcaster Robert Hardman talks to us about Charles III, his new court and the dramatic story of transition at the very top.  Robert's new book - 'Charles III and The Modern Monarchy' - has recently been published to great acclaim.

In November, John Benson returns with more insights into Ramsbury Manor, which has been described as "the most perfect country house in all England."  Through three talks John will explore the Manor's history, give us a virtual tour of its interior and, in a new talk for 2024, will explore the work of John Fowler. Fowler was perhaps the most influential interior decorator of the 20th century, he largely created 'The Country House Style' and he worked for many years in Ramsbury Manor transforming its interiors.

All tickets are £12 and can be bought online below or from Ramsbury Post Office.

Talks start at 7.15pm. (Doors open at 6.45 with a donation bar)
