Lady Carnarvon - Secrets and stories from the real Downton Abbey.  

Lady Carnarvon and her husband Geordie, 8th Earl of Carnarvon, live in Highclere Castle - known to millions around the world as "Downton Abbey". In her latest book, A Year in Highclere, she reveals what it truly means to live and work at this extraordinary home. From gardening, entertaining, exploring the outdoors with their dogs to opening the gates to a film crew, culminating in the latest Downton Abbey film, Highclere is where history, royalty, nature and community weave together. 

Her previous books include Seasons at Highclere and The Earl and the Pharaoh, a biography of the 5th Earl of Carnarvon who discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun with Howard Carter.
